Social Services
"Charity is injurious unless it helps the recipient
to become independent of it."--John D. Rockefeller

The mission of The Salvation Army Family Services of Grays Harbor is to fulfill the social, health, and recreational needs of low-income individuals and families in the community. Our social welfare program seeks to enhance the social functioning of all groups by providing help and support in a wide variety of personal and social difficulties, thereby increasing the capacity for problem-solving and coping, while helping with obtaining needed resources--facilitating interaction between individuals, their environments, and their communities. For assistance or more information, please call 360-533-1062

"The Salvation Army serves about 16,000 people each year
in Grays Harbor County through these services"
